Leden Group’s large factory investment in Oulainen is currently progressing rapidly in the phase of significant procurement contracts. The company has agreed on a major equipment delivery on a Nordic scale with Amada, one of the world’s largest metal industry machine suppliers.
Amada will deliver to the future factory in Oulainen both an expansion of the automated storage system and two new punch-laser combination machines with automatic tool changers. In addition, the delivery includes fiber laser equipment with a double tower warehouse and robotics to enhance production. In order to increase the bending capacity, the package also includes a press brake, which complements the technology previously introduced by the company.
“The new factory in Oulainen will become a modern contract manufacturing center with the latest technology in the field. The production equipment will therefore be significantly modernized. Automation, efficiency and operational reliability have been emphasized in the design of the factory, which also determine the investments. The purchase made now, which is very significant even on the scale of the Nordic countries, supports the future factory investment and enable capacity to be increased. Overall, Leden’s future factory in Oulainen will support the company’s growth and improve customer service,” says Marko Niskanen, director of Leden Finland Oy.
